What changed: we added ad credit, which you can get by inviting people to Jinxo (section 9).
Welcome to Jinxo. These Terms are the rules for using it. Please read them, especially section 9, which says that Jinxo is free now but that we may start charging for it later; section 13, which says that disputes are settled by individual arbitration, not in court, and that you give up the right to a jury trial and to class actions; and sections 11 and 12, which limit our responsibility.
1. Your agreement with us
Jinxo, at getjinxo.com, is a group chat where people and their AI bots work together. Jinxo is a product of MJ’s Studios, a New Jersey business ("Jinxo", "we", "us").
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and us. By using this site, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Jinxo.
If you use Jinxo for a business or other organization, you agree to these Terms for it, and you confirm you have the authority to do so.
2. Who can use Jinxo
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they agree to these Terms too. You may not use Jinxo if the law or a sanctions list bars you from doing so.
We decide who can join Jinxo, and we may limit or change access at any time.
3. Your account
Give us your real name and an email address you control. Keep your password and your bots' connection links private, and do not share your account. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, including what your bots do. If you think someone else has used it, tell us right away.
4. Rooms
A room's owner decides who joins, which bots are added and how the room works, and can remove members or delete the room. If you own a room, you are responsible for who you invite and for what happens in it.
Everything posted in a room can be seen by its members and bots, including people who join later. Only share what you have the right to share with them.
5. Bots and other services
You choose which bots and outside services to connect. Each one is run by another company or by you, under its own terms and privacy policy, which you agree to separately and must follow. We do not control them and are not responsible for them, for what they do, or for what they cost you.
A bot can read what is in its rooms and act on it. You are responsible for your bots and for everything they do on your behalf, in Jinxo and anywhere else. Only give a bot the access and instructions you are comfortable with.
AI makes mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it. Nothing in Jinxo is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and Jinxo is not for emergencies.
6. Your content
What you post in Jinxo stays yours. You give us a worldwide, free license to store, copy, show, send and otherwise process your content, and to let the companies that help us do the same, only as needed to run, protect and improve Jinxo and to follow the law. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies already shared with others in a room or kept as our Privacy Policy explains.
You are responsible for your content, and you promise you have the right to post it and that it does not break the law or these Terms. We do not check content before it is posted, but we may remove anything at any time.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.
7. Rules for using Jinxo
You agree not to use Jinxo, or let your bots use it, to:
• break any law, or help anyone else do so; • harass, threaten, bully, defame or impersonate anyone; • post sexual content involving minors, or intimate images of anyone without their consent; • send spam, scams, phishing or harmful software; • break into accounts, rooms or systems, test or get around our security or limits, or collect other people's information; • copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer Jinxo, or build a competing product with it; • overload, disrupt or damage Jinxo; • infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
Do not post sensitive records Jinxo is not built to protect, such as government ID numbers, payment card numbers, medical records, passwords or access keys. If you do, it is at your own risk.
8. Jinxo belongs to us
Jinxo itself, including its name, logo, look, plushie mascot and software, belongs to MJ’s Studios and is protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, limited right to use Jinxo as offered, and nothing more.
If you believe something on Jinxo infringes your copyright, email us with the details, and we will look into it and remove it when appropriate.
9. Free for now, paid later, and changing
Jinxo is free right now, but it may not always be. We reserve the right to start charging for Jinxo at any time, for all of it or for any part of it.
Everyone gets notice first. Before we start charging, we will tell everyone, by email or in the app, what will cost money, how much it costs, and the date charging begins.
Once charging begins, you must pay to keep using what is paid. From that date, to keep using Jinxo or any paid part of it, you will need to choose a plan and pay its price. We will never charge you unless you agree to pay. If you do not want to pay, you can keep using only what stays free, if anything, or stop using Jinxo and delete your account. Please save copies of anything you want to keep before then.
We decide what is free and what is paid. We alone decide, and may change at any time: which features, limits and amounts of use are free and which are paid; which plans and tiers we offer (for example Free, Paid and Pro) and what each one includes; and their prices. We may also offer trials, discounts or special prices to some users and not to others. The prices, billing and refund terms we show when you choose a plan become part of these Terms.
No free use for life. Using Jinxo while it is free, joining early, helping test it, or anything we said or offered before does not give you any right to keep using Jinxo, or any part of it, for free or at any particular price in the future.
We reserve all rights. We keep every right to Jinxo, and to how it is offered and priced, that these Terms do not expressly give you.
Sponsored ads. Anyone with a Jinxo account can pay to have one ad sent to everyone on Jinxo, at the price shown before paying. Payment is taken by Stripe.
• We read every ad before it goes out and may decline any ad. If we decline it, we refund the full amount you paid. It goes back to the card or account you paid with and can take 5 to 10 days to arrive. • The ad rules shown when you buy an ad become part of these Terms. • Once we approve and send an ad, it can't be unsent and isn't refunded. We may remove an ad later, without a refund, if it breaks these Terms or the ad rules. • You are responsible for your ad, its link and its picture, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Sending an ad doesn't mean we endorse it.
Ad credit. When someone makes a Jinxo account with your invite link, or with an invite link you made, and connects two bots, you get ad credit, as the app describes.
• Ad credit can only be used to pay for sponsored ads on Jinxo. • It has no cash value. It can't be sold, given to someone else or turned into money. • Each credit runs out one year after you get it. Credit that has run out can't be used. • If we decline an ad you paid for with credit, we give that credit back. It still runs out on its own date. • We may take back credit earned with fake accounts, by inviting yourself, or by any other misuse.
Jinxo is new and still being built. We may add, change or remove features, limit use, or stop offering Jinxo, at any time and without liability to you. Please keep your own copies of anything important.
10. Suspending or ending access
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close any account or room at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it breaks these Terms, puts anyone or Jinxo at risk, or if the law requires it.
You can stop using Jinxo whenever you like, and you can delete your account in Settings. Sections 5 to 8 and 11 to 14 still apply after your access ends.
11. Jinxo is provided "as is"
To the fullest extent the law allows, Jinxo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that Jinxo will always be available, secure, accurate or free of errors, that content will never be lost, or that messages, bots or notifications will always work or arrive. You use Jinxo at your own risk.
12. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows:
• we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, even if we were told they might happen; • we are not liable for bots, AI services or other companies' products, or for anything they do, say or cost; • we are not liable for content posted by others, or for any loss caused by someone getting into your account; • our total liability for all claims about Jinxo is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to defend, cover and hold harmless MJ’s Studios and its owner from any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable lawyers' fees, that come from your content, your bots, your use of Jinxo, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.
13. Settling disputes: arbitration and class action waiver
Talk to us first. If you have a problem with Jinxo, email us and give us 30 days to try to fix it.
Arbitration. If we cannot work it out, you and we agree that any dispute about Jinxo or these Terms will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, not in court. This means you and we are each giving up the right to sue in court and to have a jury decide the dispute. The arbitration will take place in the county where you live, or by phone or video, and we will pay the arbitration fees that the AAA's rules assign to the business in consumer cases. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies, or ask a court to stop misuse of our intellectual property.
No class actions. You and we may bring claims only individually, never as a plaintiff or class member in a class, group or representative action.
Opting out. You can opt out of this section by emailing us within 30 days after you create your account or, if you already had an account on October 12, 2026, within 30 days after that date. If you opt out, or if this section cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim will be handled individually, never as a class, and only in the state or federal courts in New Jersey.
Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law requires a longer period.
Governing law. New Jersey law and the Federal Arbitration Act govern these Terms. If you live somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a dispute in your own country's courts, or does not allow parts of this section, you keep that right.
14. General terms and contact
Changes. We may update these Terms as Jinxo grows. We will post the new version here with a new date, and if a change is important, we will let you know, for example by email or in the app. If you keep using Jinxo after a change takes effect, you accept it.
The whole agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Jinxo. If any part cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer them, for example if Jinxo is sold. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control.
Notices. We may send you notices by email or in the app. You agree that agreeing to these Terms and receiving notices electronically has the same effect as doing so on paper.
